Our mission is to preserve and promote the native equine breeds of Great Britain and Ireland
Working together using shared experiences, research and resources from all native breeds we aim to help:
· Improve the welfare of native ponies
· Increase genetic diversity to ensure the health and longevity of our native breeds
· Defend and strengthen sustainable equine habitats
· Record and nurture the rich cultural heritage and tradition that surrounds these ponies
· Provide an educational resource
